Saïdath Ouabi is an independent designer based in Paris. Trained as an interior architect and objects designer, she developed a passion for clothing early on, fascinated by cut, volume, and movement.

After graduating, she went independent and developed a cross-disciplinary practice, at the crossroads of design, fashion and space.

It was by questioning the function of clothing - the way it dresses, reveals and structures - that she imagined a hybrid form: a chair that, like a body, could be dressed. This intuition gave birth to the Couture chair, a manifesto piece where design and couture know-how meet to give life to a unique new object.
